Dear Friends and Neighbors,

It’s a perfect spring morning throughout Carbon County and the greater Lehigh Valley. What a blessing it is to live in such a beautiful place.

When I first announced my candidacy for Congress, I issued a challenge to my fellow Republicans. Will they nominate the person with the best qualifications, or will they choose another career politician with insider credentials? The response will define our local politics for decades and could have a profound impact on the future of our country.

I’m an experienced leader in business, military, and civic affairs. I already have a successful career in the private sector and don’t need this job to pay my bills. I’m backed by friends and family, an amazing team, hundreds of incredible volunteers, thousands of small donors, and patriots throughout the district.

In Washington, I’ll be an independent, conservative voice for you. I won’t rely on House leadership or young staffers to tell me how to vote. Instead, I’ll listen to my neighbors and draw from my years of relevant experience to make wise decisions. I’m not interested in advancing my career. I’m interested in changing things for the better.

Both of my opponents are products of the political establishment and bankrolled by out-of-town elitists. One is a career politician who never had a private sector job. The other is a political insider who just moved into the district to run for office. Neither served in the military. Neither started their own business. And the biggest red flag of all- both of them seem way too excited about going to Washington and being a part of that scene.

Not me. I’m approaching this like a military deployment. Nobody wants to go off to war. And nobody should be eager to enter that cesspool of Washington politics. But I’m trained to fight for our freedoms, I’ve been through hardship before, and I’m ready to answer the call. I’ve served my country in uniform. Now I’m ready to serve in Congress.

Real-world experience isn’t just important to GOP voters. It’s important to all voters. And that’s why I’m best positioned to defeat Susan Wild in November.

In contrast to the name-calling and mudslinging of my opponents, I ran a clean campaign, and I hope you noticed. I did that because you deserve leaders who don’t need to lie to get elected, and to set an example for my family. I want my sons to see how their dad reacts to false accusations: by telling the truth.

I am asking for your vote please. I’m confident that we ran a successful campaign and are positioned to win. Now this election is in God’s hands.
