Lisa Scheller Says No to Debate Offer
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Two weeks ago, I invited Lisa Scheller, the other declared Republican candidate in the race, to a series of at least six debates leading up to the primary election (here). Lisa Scheller declined. Her campaign said she wanted to wait until nominating petitions are filed before scheduling any debates.
But there is a problem with that answer. Petitions won’t be finalized for weeks, and mail-in voting currently is scheduled to begin before the end of March. That means Republican primary voters could be casting ballots before we have our first debate.
I’m not going to wait for my opponent to engage in a dialogue with Lehigh Valley citizens. In the next few weeks, I’ll be holding a series of Town Hall events to meet with voters, answer their questions, and discuss my plan to Keep America Free. I’ll post the schedule on this blog and on my campaign Facebook site (here).
In the meantime, we have a bunch of events already scheduled through the first week of March (Dellicker Events Feb). I hope to see you soon.
