Ask Lisa Scheller

Dear Voters,

Since late January, I’ve been asking Lisa Scheller to have a debate. Now its mid-March, and my Republican primary opponent still hasn’t met me on the public stage. Perhaps now we know why.

A recent article in The CEO Magazine details Lisa Scheller’s new investments in China. It includes the following revelations about Silberline Manufacturing, which is privately owned by Lisa Scheller, who also serves as the company’s Global Chairman and President:

Lisa Scheller’s company is opening a new factory in China next year. “It will become one of our global production centres and comprise state-of-the-art technology,” said Silberline’s Managing Director Asia-Pacific.

Lisa Scheller’s company is investing in China’s public infrastructure. The same source said that Silberline, “helped the government build roads in China.” Here’s a link to the original article.

Lisa Scheller’s company is partnering with China’s state-owned metals conglomerate. Silberline’s Managing Director Asia-Pacific revealed a strategic partnership with Angang Group Aluminum, a division of Ansteel Group, which is controlled by the Chinese Communist Party.

Most people have no idea about Lisa Scheller’s deep ties to China, and voters are often surprised when they learn the details. According to her most recent financial disclosure report, Lisa Scheller earned between $1.2 million and $7 million from her operations in China over the past two years, which is between 33% to 95% of her total reported business income. This isn’t a minor stake from years ago. It’s a major investment right now.

I’ve been warning people about the threat from the Chinese Communist Party and the refusal of our nation’s elites to take them seriously. In a series of blog posts, I’ve detailed the atrocities that communist leaders are inflicting upon the Chinese people, their neighbors, and American families. And I’ve proposed a 38-point plan to counter Chinese aggression before they become a superpower adversary or lash out like Russia.

But let’s be clear: we can’t counter Chinese communists if Members of Congress are partnering with them in business.

The CEO Magazine report raises serious allegations, and Lisa Scheller deserves the chance to respond. Perhaps the article is incorrect? Perhaps there’s another Angang Group that isn’t run by communists? With the election just nine weeks away, the voters need answers now.

I’ve prepared a printable Fact Sheet and a website with everything in one place: www.AskLisaScheller.com. My sources are carefully documented for public scrutiny. Please review these materials and make up your own minds. Here is what I think:

No Member of Congress should cast votes in Washington while cutting ribbons in China.

If Lisa Scheller were to win the election, she would have a conflict of interest between protecting her Chinese investments and representing her American constituents. She must immediately address these reports, disclose her relationships with China, and detail any partnership her company has with communist-affiliated organizations.

The voters are waiting.

Sincerely,

***
